I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is deserved. I got three quotes. One company told me they would sell me the roof and I had to find my own installer. The second said they would install it, but only if I bought all the materials from them. Then I spoke with ZIM. Mykola explained everything clearly. They sell the material, and I can choose who installs it. They even offered to help me pick the right installer. There was no pressure and no upselling, just honest advice. They didn’t try to make extra money from me, they actually helped. That’s rare these days. I truly wish you all the best!

Don't be fooled with the lifetime warranty. Metal roof was installed in 2017. I started seeing leaks in my house and then animals are getting stuck around the metal roofing. I called ZIM, the answer is that the Warranty is for the metal not for anything else. There is an hourly rate of $250 to come and check the roof. Very dissatisfied and upset at this point.

BEWARE! Want to avoid a headache trying to get Mykola/ Arsenal Metal Inc / Zim Group to respond to text messages, phone calls, emails to address concerns? My suggestion is to avoid giving your business and money to this company. Avoid them at all cost.
Had metal roofs installed at my parents home. 1 year later we noticed that a panel was missing. Sent pictures, text, email to have our concerns addressed. Mycola used stall tatics after after another. There is 0 accountability and customer service.
My brother initially tried to connect with Mycola to address our roof concerns and ended up being ghosted.
On August 25th 2022, we rec'd a letter from Arsenal Metal Inc, stating "How they appreciated our business and here are 5 referral cards to hand out to friends and family. Each referral my family could get a cash back of xxx amount".
NOPE! I sent an email how the letter and referral cards were distasteful. I mentioned was dissatisfied with the company and the lack of customer service. My experience was going to be shared.
1)Aug 26th 2022 After sending the email, I rec'd phone call from Mycola and he requested pictures of our concerns to be sent via text --> Mycola's response: "Nothing missed!!! Under the tiles and flashing we installed starter. This is how it should be done!! "
2) Aug 26th 2022 I sent another picture via text showing the comparison and highlighting the concerns. --> Mycola's response: 0 response
3) Aug 28th 2022 Sent a follow up text. --> Mycola's respond: 0
4) Aug 29th 2022 sent a follow up email. --> Mycola's respond: 0
5) Aug 31st 2022 sent another follow up email and stating if no response will share this experience online and he has the end of the week (September 3rd 2022) --> Mycola's response: "Roofer will come and look at this". Noticed how a date or time was not provided. 0 accountability here.
6)Aug 31st 2022 Sent a follow up email asking for confirmation of when the roofers are going to come by so I can coordinate to be present at home. --> Mycola's response: 0 response.
7) Sept 2nd 2022. I sent another email stating how ridiculous it was having to send all these follow up emails and further asked when these roofers were going to come by. --> Mycola's response: 0
11 days has past. I have kept my word and sharing this experience and hope to prevent others from a massive migraine. Attached are images of my parents roof.

Ice blocker is ineffective at stopping ice, and traps all other debris. "Maintenance free" this roof is not. Sliding sheets of ice dent the thin metal roofing material, and rip out the screws holding the roof on, leaving holes in the roof which cause leaks. Edges have gaps allowing rodents to get under the roof to nest in your roof and insulation, allowing access to your home. Garbage product, and horrendous service.

ZIM installed my metal roof November 2017. We noticed a lot of birds were nesting on our roof beginning Spring 2018, there were two, I managed to block the one over the garage after they vacated. It got progressively worse of the past few years, however this year we saw them go under the peak of the roof where the wood had been cut out for the installation and air circulation, We had nesting material showing up in our attic. I phoned ZIM the woman said she would send someone right out. Then I get a call from the company owner saying he had no one to come out. I explained the situation and he assured me that there was wire mesh installed on the peaks and eves trough . I know there is no mesh on the eve trough because I checked it and I have photos that there is none in the peak either. I sent him photos of the location the birds are getting under the peak , his solution was pick up wire from him for free and do it myself ( I’m 71 ) or get some neighbour to go on my roof and install the mesh. He kept insisting I get a neighbour, relative or if I have a son to go on the roof of my two story house and install some mesh. Obviously the roof was not properly installed and there is no after sales service whatsoever from ZIM. My photos show twigs inside my roof in the attic and no mesh to be seen at all.

Make sure you read the whole contract. They don't tell you it is for FIFTEEN YEARS if you don't buy it outright.

My husband and I have been shopping around for a new roof recently. Our old one was very creaky as well as leaky. Enough was enough so we hired Zim Group to install a basic classic metal tile roof. It was well done and my husband and I are very satisfied.

I hired this company to replace my old water heater. The one I had was rusty and poorly made which makes this new one even better. It runs smoothly and we always seem to have piping hot water.

I had undergone some renovations for my house a few weeks back so I hired Zim Group to refresh my roof. Out of all the contractors on my property they were the quietest, and most time-efficient. I'm very impressed and will be recommending them to anyone I know doing demolition.

A modest selection BUT the product is the best on the market. I was looking for a very sturdy stone roof so I did a quote request on Zim Groups website. Someone came to my property a few days later to dissemble my old roof, and install a new one. If you’re looking for a classic roof, Zim Group is the place to go.

My wife and I have been looking to get a new roof for ages. Ours was rickety and creaked often due to temperature changes. My colleague suggested I look into Zim Group because of their excellent customer service. I reached out to them and found them outstanding! A sales lady helped me select a roof within a day and processed my payment securely too. The initial people you talk to stay with you throughout the process. My wife decided we needed a new roof, and some additional work done. I hired Zim Group on referral from a colleague. We got a new stone roof as well as some canopy awnings—all beautifully rendered. My house looks better for it, great work!

I needed a new roof and word on the street is that Zim Group does a good job. I hired them to see what was what, and it turned out to be true. They gave me a fair quote, came by and installed a truly spectacular roof.
