We had an excellent experience working with Michelle and Direct Cedar. From start to finish, they were responsive, professional, and went above and beyond. We purchased shingles for a large residential project on the other coast of Canada, and Michelle made the entire process feel seamless. Communication was always prompt and every detail was handled carefully. It’s rare to find a company that combines great products with this level of dedication and follow-through.

From order to delivery and through customs Paul Willson at Direct Cedar was on top of the order always following up and a pleasure to work with. The shingles are perfect at 18" exactly, clear, and well bundled for the long journey from British Columbia to Maine! Even with the cross continental shipping they were better priced than local white cedar which we have found not as durable as the Alaskan yellow. Thanks for a smooth transaction Paul!

I am one of the Project Managers for the Tanoa Hotel Group based in Fiji, and recently worked with Direct Cedar Supplies on a project requiring high-quality cedar shingles. The team was excellent to deal with — responsive, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. Despite the challenges of international shipping, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. The product arrived in great condition and was exactly as specified — high-quality cedar that met our expectations. Highly recommend Direct Cedar Supplies for anyone looking for a reliable supplier and solid customer service.

I had the most astounding and useful sales call while planning a cedar shingle fascia project for my home. I first came across Paul Wilson through an informative "how-to" video on YouTube, which led me to reach out.

From the moment we spoke, Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond what I expected—especially for such a small sale. He took the time to answer all my questions in detail, making sure I had everything I needed for my DIY renovation.

Paul is a top-notch professional who truly embodies great customer service—the kind that reminds you of the good old days when businesses genuinely cared about their customers. Great company, great product, and outstanding support.

Thanks again, Paul!

We've purchased cedar shakes and shingles from Direct Cedar and Roofing Supplies for close to 10 years running and we are continually impressed with the responsiveness of the sales team, quality of the products, and price. There are over 50 roofs that we've installed with material from DCRS and they will continue to be our first choice for cedar shakes and shingles.
