Unfortunately my experience was horrible. It started out good. He was responsive and came to my house the day I called him. He said he'd go on my roof and take photos and see what needed to be done but he wouldn't do anything until I got home. By the time I arrived home the roof was almost cleared so I felt grateful but not even sure how much he was going to charge me.
After he left I walked around to survey the property as a lot of snow and ice chunks were removed from my roof. My property was a disaster. Chunks of snow were thrown on to my shed which subsequently collapsed under the impact. My gazebo had chunks of ice thrown on it and the roof of it looks like it was battered in a meteor shower. It's not repairable. Chunks of ice were piled high in my garden and rolled into my window wells and ended up damaging my lower level screens.
I tried to resolve the issue and called Brent back the next day. He came over and said things like "oh I didn't realize I hit that". Honestly, I thought the first rule when clearing a roof was to look where you were throwing things.
A few days later I called to see how this could be resolved and it took him 2 days to call me back. I already got a bad feeling with that delay in responding. When he did return my call, he walked it all back. Everything he said days before about trying to make it right, were gone. He basically said he did what I paid him for and none of what happened was due to his actions. He recommended I make an insurance claim. Apparently he has insurance, but I'm not sure why I had to claim on my own house insurance.
It's been 2 months and he's disappeared. I fixed my own screens, my gazebo is unrepairable and basicallty garbage and will cost $1,200 + to replace and I had to spend $650 to replace my shed roof (from the manufacturer) then spend an entire day of labor putting it back together.
I'm thoroughly disappointed in his lack of responsibility and how he appeared to want to rectify the situation one day and completely walked it back the next. This was the WORST experience I've ever had with a contractor. I regret having him come over.

Best roofer in town. When you hire Brent to do your roof, Brent does your roof. Not some summer student but Brent. His attention to detail and making sure I get the best roof possible that I have confidence will never leak. He has done roofs for me, my parents and my in-laws. I 100% recommend Brent for your roofing needs.
