I contacted Gerald at around 9pm on a Sunday evening when my roof was leaking during rain, and am so glad that I did. It was forecasted to rain through the next week.

The first contractor I contacted earlier in the day agreed, but did not show up. The second contractor indicated he would be available when the roof was dry due to safety, which is reasonable, but would not work as it would allow my ceiling to fill with water for a week, causing damages involving increased repair. The third and fourth contractors advertised 24-7 services: one eventually responded the next morning after it had been fixed by Hiebert. The fourth contractor didn’t respond at all.

When I called Hiebert Roofing; the call was answered immediately, and a general quote was provided over the phone for the issue. Gerald dropped what he was doing, and showed up within the hour, repairing the missing shingles and stopping the leak. He was honest and knowledgable. He answered all my questions about whether any further repairs or evaluations may be due, though thankfully indicated that only one spot seemed to be visibly affected at that time.
He took care of the issue effectively and resolved a stressful situation promptly. I am so appreciative of Hiebert roofing! Gerald handled my situation quickly and effectively, easing a ton of stress. He indicated dripping may continue as the ceiling drains; but the dripping also stopped promptly. If my shingles ever need emergency care again, I will certainly be contacting Hiebert. He solved my situation promptly and professionally, and his contact and arrival time and was above and beyond.

Top notch, honest, and reliable company that I would recommend to anyone for emergency repair service. Thank you Gerald!

Amazing service. Shingles blew off in the " snow squall" today . He was here within 10 minutes! Very kind, great rates. Even went up in the snow. 10 stars :)

The day they were to instal my roof they told me the colour shingle i had chosen wasn't available! THE DAY OF INSTALLATION!
I was not happy but went with choice #2.

I didn't notice until later but they used a different colour ridge cap! I've been waiting 2 months for them to fix this! He tells me this is just a variation in the ridgecap colour.

I regret using Hiebert and would NOT recommend them!

UPDATE;
I did receive a call from Gerald after i posted this review. He disagreed that there was an issue with the colours. He said it would cost him too much money, and time, to fix this.

Well, it definitely cost him the $2000 I just paid Sergeant's roofing to do my garage. They were awesome! Over and above and will fix ridge caps for free!
That's customer service
Old shingles off. They were not even the same brand or colour of my roof!

We needed a new roof on the house we just moved into this spring, and Gerald came out himself to give an estimate. It was very reasonable, so we booked his company for the job. His crew was great, especially as I have seen and heard other crews working on neighbors' roofs before. They were polite, professional, and efficient - even my new neighbors were impressed and said so themselves. They cleaned up after the job well, and we are very happy with the repairs and roofing job. We have other family members who have had work done by Gerald's company and they were impressed as well. Highly recommend talking with Gerald if you need roofing work done.

Gerald responds immediately and professional...the young woman and young man who did the work were efficient, energetic and very timely in their work! On top of being very pleasant and kind, they did excellent work and cleaned up so well after they were done! The cost was so great too! Out of 5 quotes from different companies...Gerald was extremely competitive in his pricing and used quality product! I can’t say enough about how happy I am...and would readily recommend this company to anyone!
