I waited 2 years to post this.

I recently had my flat roof replaced by Best Flat Roof in June 2024, and I cannot recommend them enough. My 1986 home had been struggling with years of "lay-over" jobs where previous contractors buried old gravel under new tar. This trapped moisture and eventually rotted out 13 sheets of my plywood decking.
I had already upgraded my drainage to dual 4x3 downspouts to try and help, but because the old roof was sagging and "dished," the water couldn't even reach the gutters. The crew from Best Flat Roof finally solved the puzzle. They performed a total tear down in June 2024, stripping everything to the bones. The timing was perfect. Just weeks after they finished, Toronto hit that record-breaking July 2024 rainstorm that flooded the DVP. For the first time, I saw my 4x3 downspouts actually "pouring" and doing the job I installed them for. The roof has since survived two of the most erratic winters we’ve seen—from deep freezes to the wild temperature swings of 2026—with zero issues.

What they did right:
Total Strip-Down: They didn't just cover the mess; they removed every bit of the old "gravel sandwich" to fix the hidden rot.
Engineered Slope: The tapered insulation finally fixed my drainage flow.
Professional Integration: They properly tied the new Soprema system into my existing 4x3 drainage and angled the gutters steeply to ensure high-velocity flow.
Durability: Battle-tested through record floods and multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
If you have an older flat roof in the GTA and want it done right the first time, call these guys. They don't just patch; they rebuild it better than the original.

From the moment we called this company, to the completion of our row townhouse complete roof replacement, Best Fiat roof was professional, speedy and high quality. We had an awful situation when our roof began leaking in extreme winter weather. These guys came the same day we called for an estimate. They actually went on the roof to check it out (other companies had just used drones). We got a detailed estimate on paper and they were able to start work immediately, despite the severe freezing temperatures.

We called other places for a quote and either they took too long to reply or they didn't reply at all. We had to have contractors come in to repair the damage inside the house from the leak and didn't want to begin that until the roof had been replaced (since it could leak again and cause further damage).

These guys started work immediately and were surprisingly quick. They came to work on our roof on one of the coldest days of the year, they didn't have to do that. They could have delayed the job, but they didn't. I will reccommend Best Flat Roof to anyone I know because we had such an amazing experience with them during a very difficult time. Even when we asked for something to be done differently, they cooperated immediately, no argument. I can't thank them enough for saving our home. Please give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Oleg, Denis and their great team repaired two complicated flat roofs for us in Toronto a few years ago. I had lots of quotes and people in to see our roof in Toronto and after a lot of research landed on best flat roof.

They did wonderful job and we have had zero issues so when my mom's flat roof in the Kawartha Lakes started leaking, I skipped the quotes and went straight to Oleg and Denis. They fixed the roof right away with zero issues, my mom was so happy with everything and we're looking forward to no more leaks! Thank you!

I waited for a year to write this 5 star review because you can't tell the workmanship after a day or two your roofing job is done. Oleg was straight forward and the most experienced flat roofing specialist I met. His crew did an awesome job. I asked him to replace my 2M home's entire roof and he nailed it. I am very happy with his service and recommend him to anyone who's interested in getting quality flat roofing.
